Passport / Visa collection locations and timings
PICK UP OPTION
Applicants who are issued a U.S. visa may pick up their passport at the location selected while creating their profile. Once the passport is ready for pickup an email/ text message will be sent to the applicant. Applicants should have the following document to facilitate collection of their passport. Original government-issued photo ID
You can check whether your visa is ready to be collected using only your passport number on the status tracker .Passports not collected within 14 days from 11 Visa Application Centers or 7 days from Blue Dart locations will be returned to the Embassy/Consulate at great delay to you.

PREMIUM HOME DELIVERY OPTION
Applicants who are issued a U.S. visa may have their passport delivered to their door step at a nominal fee. This fee is payable in cash at the time of delivery of your passport to Bluedart courier delivery staff. Payment receipt will be emailed to you on your registered email id.

- Is there any service for Passport Delivery to Home / Office Address? You can get your passport delivered to your door step at a nominal fee of ₹ 500/- anywhere in India. If you wish to avail this service, please choose the option “Premium Delivery Service” while scheduling your appointment. There is no fee to be paid at the time of choosing this service. The fee of ₹ 500/- will be collected at the time of delivery of your passport. For more details refer link retrieving your documents
- How do I pay for this service? This is a Cash on Delivery service, so you will have to pay a nominal fee of ₹ 500/- at the time of delivery of your passport. This fee is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
- have paid the premium courier charges, how can I have the receipt of the payment? Once the passport is delivered to the provided address, the payment receipt for this service will be emailed to your registered email id on the same day or next business day.
- Can I opt for service after scheduling appointment or after attending visa interview? You may opt for this service until midnight of the day before your visa interview appointment.
- I am applying together with my family, do I have to pay for all members? Yes, for security reasons each passport will be send separately and not clubbed together hence, you will have to pay ₹ 500/- for each member.
- What happens to my passport if I'm not at home when the courier arrives? The courier will attempt to deliver your passport only at the address opted by you at the time of choosing this service. If the courier is unable to deliver, for example no one is at home; the courier will leave a “sorry card” with AWB no. indicating the attempted delivery. If you receive this card, contact the courier company immediately on the number mentioned on the sorry card.
- What do I need to show to the courier when they deliver my passport? For security reasons, you must present an original government-issued photo ID for verification when you collect your passport. You must also sign for all documents handed over to you by the courier.
- Does my passport have to be delivered to my home only? No. Your passport can be couriered to your office or to a member of your family. The recipient must present an original government-issued photo ID for verification and pay the required fee ₹ 500/- in order to accept delivery of your passport.
- What types of ID are acceptable as proof-of-identity? For Security reasons, you must present an original government-issued photo ID.
- What if my pincode is not serviceable by Courier Company for delivery? If your pincode is not serviceable; you have an option to opt for the closest “Premium Hold for Collection” locations that is near to your home. Please select “Pick up” option while scheduling your appointment and then choose the nearest “Premium Hold for Collection” location.
- How do I collect my passport from “Premium Hold for Collection” locations? You will receive an email/SMS once your courier is available at location for collection. Visit the selected premium location with an original Government ID proof, pay a fee of ₹ 500/- (inclusive of taxes) in cash to collect your passport.
- My address was incorrect/incomplete and Courier Company is not delivering the passport to my correct address? Please contact our call center via email from your registered email id at support-india@ustraveldocs.com and provide the complete and correct address.
